'Biggest Loser' trainer, Anthony Badalamenti, was arrested on charges of beating his girlfriend's 6-year-old son with weightlifting belts, Newsday reports. Police were alerted by the couple's landlord, who heard the son's screams. When authorities found the young boy at their Long Island residence, he had multiple lacerations and bruises on his right hand, right leg and bottom. On Monday, Badalamenti was in jail and ordered by a judge to stay there on $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash after being arraigned on charges of second-degree assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. Badalamenti's live-in girlfriend, Jessica Muniz, faces the same charges.Joe Salerno, the couple's landlord, said he could hear the child's cries for nearly a month. When he had the boy's pleas for help on Friday evening, the landlord took matters into his own hands and called the police."The child was pleading for mercy. I said, 'That's it, I can't take it anymore,' " Salerno said.When the police arrived, they took the son to a local hospital. He has since been treated and released to a family relative.
